On graduating from university with a master’s in engineering, Tristam steadily progressed through various drilling engineering and supervisory industry roles at BP and Ophir Energy. Identifying problems, he saw a gap in the market. Tristam founded DeltaTek in 2015 which led to the development of SeaCure®, an industry-first technology.
Chief Operating Officer
Dave has a BSc in Engineering Technology and over 35 years oilfield experience, 25 of which have been served in senior management and board positions. Dave has global oil and gas experience, working with the likes of Dowell Schlumberger, Petroleum Engineering Services Limited (PES), WellDynamics, Expro and STATS Group. Prior to joining DeltaTek, Dave has worked with SME’s, supporting them to bring new technology to market.
Chairman and Chief Technology Officer
Steve has almost 40 years of industry experience, including over two decades with Schlumberger. Starting his career as a Field Engineer, Steve rose through the ranks, and has held a number of management and director positions around the globe. Steve held the Chief Executive position of Darcy Technologies for 6 years, until Halliburton’s acquisition of the company. Since then Steve has led start-up businesses, bringing new technology to market.
Lori started her career at working as an office assistant in the property industry, before joining Aberdeen City Council hackney office and garages for over 5 years. Lori then worked as an office assistant at Taylors Industrial Services before joining DeltaTek. Lori’s role involves managing the administrative aspects of the business including sales, finance and working directly with and providing support to the company directors.
Starting his career as an Operations Engineer at Stork Technical Services, Chris boasts nearly a decade of experience working as a Drilling Engineer with LR Senergy, AGR and Enquest, before joining DeltaTek as an Operations Supervisor in 2018. Chris has been promoted to Operations Manager.
Jonas completed an HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at North East Scotland before graduating with BSc Hons Electrical Engineering from Robert Gordon University.
Alex started his career as an Electro-mechanical Maintenance Apprentice, Drilling Services, at Baker Hughes, completing his modern apprenticeship in 2016 and obtained an HNC in Mechanical Engineering. He continued his career with Baker Hughes, as an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Drilling Services. Alex brings skills in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Gerry is a time served Mechanical Engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, including petroleum engineering services, intervention and smart completions roles. Gerry has previously worked for STATS, Baker Hughes Inteq, Teleco Sonat and Dril-Quip in both engineering and supervisor positions. Gerry’s role at DeltaTek includes managing the workshop, maintaining, testing and deploying tools and ensuring training technicians.
International Business Development Manager Americas
Tyler has a Mechanical Engineering background with over a decade of diverse professional experience in the oil & gas services industry. After graduating from Texas A&M University, he started his career in design engineering and field applications engineering with Baker Hughes before transitioning into business development and general business management roles with Workstrings International. Tyler has worked in the USA, UK, Norway and across the Asia Pacific region including assignments in Singapore and Australia.
Business Development Graduate
Emily graduated with a BA Hons Management with Human Resources Management from Robert Gordon University in 2019. She went on to work at both Halliburton and Stena Drilling in HR roles, before joining DeltaTek as a Business Development Graduate. Emily’s role involves supporting the Business Development, Operations and Administration functions at DeltaTek.
On completing his secondary education, Gregor spent two years working in the French/Swiss Alps at a hotel. On his return to Aberdeen, he studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Aberdeen. During his third year of University, he joined DeltaTek on a summer internship. Gregor went on to complete and graduate his degree in 2020 and has joined the DeltaTek team on a full time basis as a Graduate Engineer.
